Check this before you start
The entire setup process is completed through the user panel. It is used to create an account, view plans, get a subscription and access the client download area. Marketing pages do not provide static installers or publicly usable subscription links. This helps prevent importing configuration for another account and makes it easier to retrieve the correct details when your plan status changes.
First, decide which platform you will use and keep the user panel signed in in your browser. You will switch between the panel and the client: copy the subscription from the panel, then return to the client to import it. If you are using another device, sign in to the same account there and get the subscription without typing a long link manually.
This page covers the main path to getting connected. Route types, billing options, sharing across household devices and plan selection can affect long-term use, but you do not need to understand everything during the first setup. For a broader overview, read the guide to choosing a cross-border network service. If you encounter a specific error while connecting, visit Frequently Asked Questions and troubleshoot by symptom.
Create a username and password
Open the account creation page, enter the username you plan to use long term, and set a password. VPNOI does not require an email address; your username and password are the credentials for the user panel. Before submitting, make sure the username is easy to recognize and store the password securely. After submission, the page takes you to the user panel, where you can continue with plans and subscriptions.
If the page says the username is unavailable, choose a different one and submit again. If the password does not pass the page’s checks, adjust it according to the prompt beside the field instead of repeatedly submitting the same value. A successful registration is easy to recognize: the browser leaves the creation page and shows areas such as the account overview, plans and client downloads.
After entering the panel, do not copy anything yet. A new account may not show usable configuration in the subscription section until you have chosen a plan. Go to the Plans section next and choose a monthly subscription or data package based on how you expect to use it. If you need to continue later, close the page and return through the “Log in” link on the right side of the site navigation using the username and password you just created.
Next: After creating your account, open the Plans section. Do not look for the subscription link on other pages.
Start FreeChoose a plan and place your order
In the Plans section of the user panel, first distinguish between monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date and suits ongoing use. A data package lasts until it is used and never expires, making it better for irregular usage. At this stage, focus on your usage pattern rather than the technical differences between routes; available routes will appear together in the client after you import the subscription.
After selecting a plan, the page shows the order details. Confirm that the plan name, data allowance and amount match your selection, then continue to payment. VPNOI supports Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT; the options actually available are those shown on the order page. After payment, do not create the same order again. Return to the panel and check the current order status first. Once the status updates, the subscription section in the account overview will become available.
If the subscription details do not appear immediately after ordering, refresh the user panel and reopen the account overview. If you still have questions, submit the order details through the ticket section for review. Do not post payment credentials or account passwords publicly. VPNOI offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund; the exact scope and process are governed by the Terms of Service and the order record in the panel.
Plans mainly differ in their available data and billing method. If you are unsure how much data you need, read the plan pricing guide, which brings together monthly subscriptions, data packages, reset rules and mid-cycle upgrades. This tutorial does not repeat the price comparison; once the order is active, continue directly to getting your subscription.
Next: Once the order is active, return to the account overview and find the subscription details for the current account.
Start UsingGet your subscription from the user panel
Open the account overview and find the subscription section. It shows the configuration entry associated with the current account and plan. Select Copy subscription link to place the link on your clipboard, then switch to the client and paste it under “Import from link” or a similarly named option. Do not split the link manually or change any of its characters.
A subscription link is not the address of a single route. It lets the client retrieve the currently available route configuration. After import, the client organizes regions and route names into a selectable list. When routes change, use the client’s update subscription feature to sync them; there is no need to create another account or place another order.
The address below is shown for format illustration only. It cannot connect and is not associated with VPNOI. When a tutorial, note or screenshot needs to demonstrate a subscription link, use an obviously fake value like this instead of pasting real content copied from the panel.
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
If pasting into the client produces nothing, return to the panel and copy the link again, then check whether your browser allows clipboard access. You can also use the system paste command or press and hold in the input field. A real subscription link should only be used for your own client configuration. If you think someone else has seen it, review the available subscription management options in the user panel and contact support through a ticket for further help.
Next: After copying the link, get the client for this platform on the current device and choose link import.
Open the account overviewImport the subscription into the client
Get the client from the client downloads section of the user panel. Choose the platform you are using, and the panel will provide the relevant entry. After installation, return to this section and find the option for adding a subscription. Do not obtain installers from unknown pages or mix another service’s subscription into a new project with the current configuration, as this makes it difficult to tell which routes are actually being used.
Windows
On Windows, use the desktop client. After installing and opening it, check the main interface, configuration or subscription management area for “Add subscription” or “Import from link.” Paste the link copied from the account overview into the address field, give the configuration a recognizable name, and confirm the addition. Once the client starts updating, wait for the route list to appear, then return to the main interface and choose a route.
If nothing changes after pasting, confirm that the input contains the complete link and that there are no extra spaces at either end, then click Update manually. Some desktop clients separate importing from enabling: a successful import only means the configuration has been saved. You still need to select it in the configuration list before its routes appear in the connection area.
macOS
On macOS, use the corresponding desktop client. The first time you open it, macOS may ask you to approve network configuration access. Complete the authorization in the system dialog, then return to the client. Open the subscription or configuration menu, choose the option to add via URL, paste the subscription link and save it. Once the regional route list appears, the subscription has been read successfully.
If the client remains in the menu bar after its window closes, reopen its controls from the menu bar icon instead of launching it again. After importing, it is best to keep automatic updates enabled, then choose a route that matches the region of the service you want to use. More complex system permission issues are outside this page; see connection and troubleshooting guidance.
Android
On Android, use the mobile client. After installing and opening it, look for link import in the home screen’s add button, the configuration page or the subscription management page. Paste the subscription link and confirm the update, then wait for the route names to load. The first time you connect, Android displays a VPN connection permission dialog. Confirm it so the client can establish the local network connection.
If the connection stops soon after you switch to another app, check the system’s background activity and battery-saving settings for the client so the connection service can keep running. Settings vary considerably by device, so this tutorial does not list every menu name. Open the client’s app information in system settings and review the battery and background activity options.
iOS
On iOS, first use the entry provided in the user panel to open the page for the corresponding client. In the client, choose Add subscription, Import via URL or a similarly named option, paste the subscription link from the account overview and save it. The first connection requires adding a VPN configuration. Follow the system prompt to confirm, then return to the client and choose a route.
If the route list is still empty after import, find the update option beside the subscription and read it again. Do not enter server fields manually in system settings. VPNOI distributes route configuration through the subscription; manual entry can omit required fields and makes future updates harder.
Connect and verify that it works
After importing the subscription, choose a route that fits your purpose in the client. For content tied to a specific region, choose that region. For ordinary websites, development tools or everyday apps, start with a nearby route offering a stable connection. Click Connect and wait until the client shows “Connected” before testing. Do not switch routes repeatedly while the status still says it is connecting.
For verification, first open a regular webpage and confirm that the domain resolves and text and images load normally. Then open the AI tool, streaming service or work service you actually need. If regular pages work but one service does not, the basic connection is usually established; the issue is more likely related to the route region, the service account’s region or cached data. First switch to another route in the same region, then reopen the target service.
If no pages load, disconnect in the client, update the subscription once, then reconnect using another route. If that still fails, check whether the device’s underlying network is working and temporarily quit other software that manages network configuration. Do not run multiple connection tools at the same time, or the configuration actually in use may differ from what the client displays.
After verification, add the stable route to the client’s favorites or keep a frequently used region as the default. Route performance depends on the local network, time of access and target service, so one successful connection does not represent every situation. To learn about the differences between IEPL, transit and direct routes, continue with how to choose a cross-border route. To see covered regions, visit the route list.
Habits for ongoing use
For everyday use, open the client, update the subscription, and then choose a route to connect. Updating the subscription syncs the current route configuration; it does not replace a plan’s data reset or create a new order. When changing devices, sign in to the user panel on the new device, get the relevant client and import the subscription again. VPNOI supports unlimited simultaneous devices, but each device must still complete its own system connection authorization.
When loading is slow, there is no need to repeatedly delete the subscription. Update the configuration first, then switch routes within the same region; this usually makes the issue easier to locate than reinstalling the client. Reinstall only when the client cannot start, the configuration file is damaged or system permissions remain abnormal. Before taking action, record the current route name and error message and include them in a support ticket. This helps identify whether the issue is with the local network, client or target service.
Account, order, subscription and client links are all centralized in the user panel. Open the Plans section to manage your plan, the Downloads section to get the client again, and the Tickets section when you need assistance. This keeps the workflow clear and avoids accidentally using an outdated entry from search results or old chat history.
